So how did I become a decklord again?

Not that I'm complaining or anything but when I checked "Decklords" on community, there were some dudes who had a much bigger average deck rating than me and yet I was above them (by rank). I just want to understand how the ranking here works since I never bothered to ask anyone before. Thanks in advance!! :D

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how many decks you've made and your average deck rating..

I just looked at the "decklords" list under the "community" tab up top, it currently shows me at #90, yet my profile still shows "deckling."
I also don't get how I got to helper rank #2 when the people below me have way more good card suggestions.
What kind of wacky algorithms does tappedout have going on man

Well, I'm at #47 (still a deckling) and the two dudes above me are also decklings (this site is overrun by decklings!).
About the helper rank, it's probably because you post up recommendations quite consistently? I'm at #33 (47 good card suggestions) but my rank went down after several days of not trying to recommend anything (this was a week or two ago).
Ha. I have noo idea. We could ask Epochalyptik though. :D

Why keep it a secret? You think people would abuse the system somehow?
People are going to figure it out sooner or later. Even if it's really unintuitive and convoluted, that just means it'll take longer, but eventually everyone who wants to know will know.

Has a lot to do with posting, as posting in the forums gets you a lot of points towards your rank.
