Inventory edit bugging?

Oftentimes when I'm editing my inventory, it freezes and I can't scroll and have to click the amount box to be able to scroll. And worse, sometimes I touch the wrong spot and it goes dark and 100% translucent so I can only see the under screen, but if I touch the screen occasionally I'll hit a pull down menu, like language or printing. I've been pushing "back", then "edit" (again) and my additions are still at the bottom in the order added. If pushing back doesn't load I have to back again and when I edit I've lost what I added. I am using an iPhone. It happens consistently. Any idea what's happening and how to fix/avoid?
