I am a bit new to the site. Can somebody give me a basic list of what each hub means so I can maybe make some new decks and label them right?

Just label everything as "competitive" and "cruel control". Trust me, people will correct you.

I'd rather not get fussed out over the internet every time I post a deck.

Don't worry too much about labeling correctly. A good place to start is with the colors of the deck, searchable by both the guild/clan/shard name or the abbreviations (Orzhov or B/W for ex).

Then you can tag with how you think the game plan usually goes. Aggro for fast attack/burn out strategies. Midrange for combination strats and curve out stuff. Control for any kind of low creature or high removal deck. Those are broad categories. Dw no one will bother you about em :P

Then if there's a special gimmick or alt win con like Mill you can tag it with that, too.

Start by thinking about how you'd describe the deck to a friend, then searching for those terms.

There are strategy-specific tags like Cruel Control that some people take very literally. I usually don't tag my deck with one of those (like zoo, reanimator, draw-go etc) unless it's explicitly modeled after one of those archetypal and famous decks. It's just not helpful because the people who check those tags do so to look for variations on a specific kind of deck and will assume you want help streamlining your list towards that goal!

Most views come from daily deckcycling and a cool title anyway, not from your tags. You should consider becoming an upgraded member (just $5 one time) in the future if you want your decks to be seen a lot--the extra deckcycling helps. :)

Just uh. Be careful with what you tag as "budget."

I find the "budget" tag quite amusing because it's a very subjective category. Tag everything that is within your budget as "budget" and watch the discussion.

A quick Google Search of the hub type with MTG after it will typically point you in the right direction. A brief summary of each is not really an easy thing.
