How to embed card images in to descriptions?

I'd really like to make my titles for my decks have a card image shown in it.

Also I'd like to be able to embed some card images into the descriptions?

Can anyone explain to me how this is done? Where do you find the embed text?

from an image hosting site like photobucket

You can also do [ [Cardname] ] without the spaces. Example:

[ [Chandra's Phoenix] ] without the spaces between the brackets on each side becomes Chandra's Phoenix .

I recommend trying a few times to see exactly what I mean.

Behgz do I just search for the cards, or do I add them, then get the embed text myself??

(Apologies for stupid questions but am not a computer genius)

Thanks BossLeiser yeah I know this one, I wanted to try and get card images permanently on to the screen, not just appearing when the mouse hovers over it.

omg i laugh so much when i look at that cat, anyways, u download a pic to ur computer, upload it to photobucket, get the html code, third one in the list, paste it in the comment or description. try by saving that cat pic and trying to repost it here.

Look up HTML image imbedding. It'll tell you how to do it. Its something like:

< IMG SRC: URL here>

No space between the "<" and "img", and obviously you put the URL where it says. Im just not positive, so look it up to be sure

Easy enough if you're copying image codes from sites? Anyone know sites where you can find MTG cards image codes??

Unforgivn_II thanks a lot, I'll be sure to look it up.

I mostly just use Google Images. You don't need a 'code' per se, just the address for the image.

Thanks Dritz, so you get the address then use ??

Thanks to everyone, with a lot of head scratching (being the IT simpleton that I am) and taking in to account pieces from all of your comments, I think I've cracked it.

Still struggling with getting images to appear in the deck titles though, so that they appear in the deck lists as a name and an image.

Thanks for your time Behgz, Unforgivn_II and Dritz

< IMG SRC:"URL" > should return an image of the card on your page.

Got to remove the space between < and IMG

For the image on the deck title, that's a "featured card", it's an option within the deck. Just click Edit on your deck and look for two blank boxes, one will say General, the other will say Featured card. Just write the card name you want in there

Goody you are a STAR!!! Thanks for pointing that out to me, I just never knew.

Whilst having a featured cards or putting images in to descriptions isn't the most important thing about your deck, i just believe it does help to get them noticed.
