Is there any place to play Legacy in north FL? Anyone from the Palm Coast, Daytona, St. Augustine or Jackson wanna get together and duel? Hit me up

I'm in Jax these days. I don't know of Legacy places that are dedicated, but I'll bet Jax Game Center has support for it at least sometimes.

I myself have a small local playgroup and we do a lot of casual games in which the decks are technically Legacy legal (Conspiracy reprints and whatnot). However, I'm sure that isn't what you were referring to; I assume you meant a competitive Legacy scene. Not sure I can actually help you there.

Competitive Legacy means traveling, as far as I've been informed by other players.

I do play competitive Modern, Standard, and Commander. I've got a bunch of Planeschase stuff too. So if you feel like dueling, drop me a line. Always down to meet new players.

Jax has about 6-10 legacy players, and we all can produce a T1 deck to play with. The problem has been that there just isn't much of a following besides the couple players. There happens to be a GPT for New Jersey this Sat, but that's the first Legacy tournament to fire here in a hot minute.

Side note: JakeHarlow where do you usually play? Also Happy Viking does Modern on Thursdays, and we love having new players come out.

Hmmm...didn't know about Thursday Modern at Happy Viking! Do you play there? Perhaps I'll go tonight!

I just moved back from NYC, so I'm still getting my sea legs as far as the MTG community in Jacksonville, FL goes.

@ ChiefWannaHacka: I've been playing at Jacksonville Game Center just down the road from Happy Viking. I have been to three FNMs there as well as the Khans prerelease, and it seems good! I bought a Planechase set from Happy Viking a while ago, but that's it. How's the scene there? You like it?

Yeah I do! There is a pretty dedicated Modern community here, and we usually fire every week with between 8-16 people.

My view is probably biased because I work at Happy Viking, but I play at all the stores and have helped judge some events for Game Center.

That's a good-sized Modern group! I'm a touch new to the competitive side of the format, but I love playing it. I'd love to try my hand at Happy Viking. Thanks for the heads-up, dude, maybe I'll see you there.

Where is Happy Viking at? I live in Palm Coast...I play modern too, but only have one deck...it will stay that way but I just wanna play MTG in general. I have a few EDH decks and thats a great format, what I'd like though, is to run through a Legacy gauntlet once every couple of weeks if that's possible.
