Playing politics online

This is mostly for EDH, though I suppose any type of multiplayer is also included.

How exactly do you do it (I'm on untap if that helps)? Like it just seems that everyone in the game is completely mute until someone (usually me) gets a conversation going, and even then, it's at the rate of one sentence a minute. Now I know that it's much easier, practically speaking, to talk to people when they're sitting directly in front of you, instead of having a computer between you two, but it certainly feels like it messes up one key components of the format, that of political strategy. So how do you guys play political games online?

I've played a lot of 4 player casual games over Cockatrice about 2 years ago and with a lot I mean like at least 5 games per day. I can't remember a single game where the players didn't chat like they would've in a RL game. Politics, smalltalk, smack-talk, kudos (for cool decks or plays), off-topic stuff, depending on how fast the game was going.

Maybe you should try Cockatrice :P

Unfortunately, my computer has some weird downloading problem, so I can't download files larger than like a background picture. It's incredibly frustrating.

It's strange that Trice is that different from untap though.

Yeah people on trice don't tend to say more than "hi" or "glhf" (good luck have fun) unless they're rage quitting

Untap has a voice chat option. Small mic down by your name. Click it to activate.
