( I'm pretty sure this is gonna be quite a long post, so if it goes overboard i'll put a tl;dr at the bottom. )
Hey there everyone! My name is Wolfie, and im here to share a general idea with you today.
I have always loved playing MtG, but i usually lack the people to do so with. I live ( Quite Literally ) out in the middle of nowhere, and staying late nights at the game shop i play at, a two hour trip from my house, usually requires alot of planning for me to play a simple FNM every once in a while. With that, i turn more and more into online magic. But then i suddenly realized that spending time and money into my real life deck, sort of stopped me from spending money on MtGO. Im simply too poor to try and play on both MtGO, and in real life. So i turned to other solutions.
I tried cockatrice for a while, but it got dull with alot of players not knowing the rules, and/or people just upright leavning the game all together if a match got too hard for them.
Then i found Xmage. The first program ( Atleast to my knowledge ) that actually has rule-enforcement BUILT INTO the program! It really functions like MtGO, but everything is free! So i thought for myself, how about we start up a Tournament Season sorta thing, Using a program where rules are enforced?
Would anyone be interested in this? I'm pretty used to holding stuff like this, and im pretty sure i could hook up a Teamspeak server or somthing of the likes to make communications easier between the " Judges " and the players, or just to generally get info around.
tl;dr: Would you like to play Standard online, With a client like MtGO's, but for free?
( Also, Moderators. If this thread is in the wrong place, please move it. I really dont feel like typing all this out again >-< )
Cool~ Im gonna sit down tomorrow and play stuff out in detail, i think. Mostly since i got loads of time to spare.

Give a shout out here too. It isn't too popular at the moment, but I'll be trying to populate it in a second.

( I should PROBABLY have mentioned, Its most likely gonna be kept track off using somthing like Challonge, but that's a subject to change as the idea gets finalized. )
