How do you break a soft lock caused by a bug (MTGO)

I just discovered that Apathy causes what Wizards refer to as a "soft lock" when it's ability triggers. What happens is that the window where my opponent chooses whether to discard a card during upkeep to untap the creature can't be interacted with and the game can not proceed. Since it is referred to as a "soft lock" I assume there is a way to break out of it. Does anyone know how?

Thanks :-)

They probably call it a "soft lock" because it doesn't crash the entire program rather than because there's some workaround for it.

Yeah, sadly most of the time a "soft lock" locks you out of the program your using and can only be fixed by forcing the program to quit. At least it's not a hard lock, which most of the time can only be fixed by restarting your computer. I'm sure there's some way to report bugs in MTGO; you should try that.

Thanks, I've reported it several times, until it recently appeared on the "ongoing issues" list. Guess I'll have to replace the apathys with Paralyze then
