Why Do Nissa's Eyes Glow?

One of Nissa’s most distinguishing traits is that her eyes glow green, but why is that? Has any explanation ever been given for that? What does everyone else say about that?

Ice_Water, the difference is that other planeswalkers' eye glow only on occasion, whereas Nissa's eyes are shown to be glowing almost constantly, so there must be some reason for that.

Looking at some Zendkari elves, some cards have glowing, or bright green eyes. I’ve only seen a couple examples in a shallow dive, they could be more pronounced due to her status as a nature attuned planeswalker.

Not trying to be snarky here, but don't most of the planeswalkers' eyes glow some type of way when using magic? Jace's glow blue, don't they?
