Just getting into legacy!

Hey, I'm just getting into Legacy and I whipped up a cool deck that I thought would be a lot of fun. Any suggestions? Like I said, I'm pretty new to the format, so any helpful comments would be appreciated!

Alright so it looks like you're trying to do the knight/coralheim combo in legacy. Might be good, probably is mediocre, but i'll give you some suggestions.
The first problem I see is that you're half of a Maverick/Death and Taxes build, and half of a counterspell build. Those... don't really work together. You really need to commit to one or the other.
Second of all, you want all 4 brainstorms main board. Get rid of the two Silence, they are terrible in all formats.
If you can afford them, I would suggest the stoneforge mystic package with a jitte and a batterskull. If you can't, that's fine, but you probably want to get some swords to plowshares into the main board. You need some way to stop combo decks. Stuff like ANT (storm) and Belcher can kill you on turns 1 or 2, so stuff like Thalia is super important to decks like yours. The problem, is that thalia hurts your counter spells. So it's... not ideal.
