1v1 Archenemy

Ok, so in my village there are only two people playing MTG. Me and a friend of mine. I am really interested in Archenemy. I know it is a multiplayer format but i was thinking to create a new version for two players. Maybe, we both are Archenemies. We both to have a scheme deck. What do you guys think about that? Could it work?

I agree with what RJ suggests, having one player just play multiple decks makes a lot of sense. You could also do what you suggested but that isn't really what archenemy is meant to be.

I was toying with this, too. I think the easiest way is to have one of you play 3 decks and the other the archenemy. Or alter the archenemy life total to 30 and have the 2nd player play 2 decks
