I personally kinda like it and with golgari it'll be interesting, especially with graveyard manipulation.

Reaper of the Wild 2BG

Whenever another creature dies, scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library.)

Black Mana: Reaper of the Wild gains deathtouch until end of turn.

1 Colorless Mana 1 Green Mana: Reaper of the Wild gains hexproof until end of turn. 4/5

A 4/5 for 4 is pretty incredible, even without the extras. Another great draft card.

this is looking pretty dominant while in play IMO, this is a good piece for a B/G cemetery AKA Golgari :3

I think it might be even better than that, it will definitely see constructed in a lot of FNMs, doubt it will make it in a top 8 deck, but this has a lot of potential if abused correctly

It's probably going to win a spot in my Lotleth Lifegain Control deck for a few to see how it functions

C'mon 99 cent pre order so i can get a playset lol. I won't be that lucky tho. Just got 4x Thoughtseize and want to play these colors and make this guy work.

I am waiting on pre-ordering anything just yet, but will be trading or purchasing these guys for sure, and if they are a 99 cent pre-order, I am on it like crazy! I have 2 boxes coming, so hope to pull a couple

This card is stupid good. Chances are it will not be a 99 cent preorder. Maybe this is the paranoid side of me, but maybe SCG and TCG bases their preorder prices on the hype the cards get when spoiled. i.e they lurk on sites like this and determine how many people would buy it.

Or maybe they have preknowledge of the whole set, and already know how the cards will interract and price them accordingly...?

Haha, RickyHoeppner, i think about stuff like that all the time. Like, how do they base their pre-order price for these things?

I doubt they have any knowledge prior to the spoilers same as the rest of us, my guess is they either base on ability and mana cost, or have a top 8 expert on staff who prices them as to how useful they will be to him type deal

ShadowLand yeah man. It makes sense right? I mean, SCG aren't the manufacturers of the cards. Who are we to assume that they know everything about the set? They might, that's true, but we can't know for sure. Unless of course we just ask someone in person who happens to work for them.

Well, they do have quite a few years of experience at speculating on (and often driving) the market on their side. I tend to think they make educated guesses at what the market will be for a card, and it tends to shift often and sometimes widely in the time between spoilers and the first few weeks of play.

A few of them I can def see holding their prices though, like Thoughtseize and Elspeth, Sun's Champion for sure, those are easily going to be worth the $25 pre-order price
