What happens if a LGS hosts an IQ and doesn't pay out the cash prize that was advertised on SCG?

What are a players options?

follow up question; is it a players right to ask to see the standings when top 8 is announced?

I believe for your first question, you should contact Star City. They can follow up on it and hopefully give you a good answer about what happened.

As for your second question, players should be allowed to see standings. Even if they don't post up the sheet for all players, you should be able to ask your LGS owner.
