which of these is a better hand in control?

7 lands covering all your colours

2 lands 3 cantrips and 2 forms of removal

5 lands 2 forms of removal

4 lands 1 removal 2 cantrips

4 lands 2 removal 1 cantrip

I'd personally say 4 lands, 2 removal, and 1 cantrip. Cantrip can turn into a wipe or something, then t2 and t3 removal, followed by wipe if needed. Plus then you could play your win condition with all the lands.

Depends on deck, format, and the deck you're playing against.

I'll say it right now though, seven lands is never a good thing.

"Cantrip" is a bad word to use, because that means a card that draws a card. Control shouldn't really be playing that type of card.

4 lands, 2 removal spells and 1 card draw would be my pick. It depends what those lands are and if they can cast your spells, but I like this hand in the void very much.

for those who don't want to answer in a vacuum situation maybe give an answer based on my control deck

Why wouldn't you just ask for that to begin with, rather than expect us to give an answer based on information we don't have?

Also, feel free to point me out, I'm well aware I'm the only one here who didn't answer because of the vacuum.
