Customize How you Sort your Collection?

Gear forum

Let me start with the fact that this is in the Gear forum due to the fact I consider this a tool. It could also be classified under Online Magic if you feel it's more suited for there.

Hey guys, just want to take a quick poll:

How would you like an product that provides you with a spread of all your cards, sorted the way you want it? It is also customizable the way you want it? And last but most important, what if you can control who sees it?

Not just a fan of Magic, how about if it can sort Hot Wheels, Sports cards, or other TCG cards, too?

Let me tell you the truth, it does exist. I devised a way to use Google Sheets for designing a custom Magic collecting tool!

Basically, To cut things short, I'm wondering if there's interest in this, and if there's any questions, I would be glad to answer them!

Probably would be interested, but the main issue for me putting my collection online is the manual entry. If you could make a way to take a picture of 16 cards in a grid and pull the name and set and add it to a list i would be sold. It would make the data entry portion a bit faster and easier.

ojmandias, I get this question a lot. Usually, I like to pull from already existing lists, but I could manage pulling from pictures instead.

I'm with Ojmandias, my problem with online sorting tools is the card entry. Even a 16 card grid wouldn't work for me. I have over 6000 cards in fatpack boxes. I don't want to lay out 375+ grids for data entry, nor handle the 6k cards for manual entry. Pictures would work for the 200 or so in my trade binder but not the rest of my collection.

I'll just stick with looking cards up online and checking for them by finding the correct spot in my alphabetized boxes.

I got a trial version and I must say he does a great job! it's easy to keep track of your collection and I would buy it if I actually had cards and wasn't broke :P
