So after the initial release of MM17, the fetches have gone up about a dollar a day. Should I pick them up now before they creep higher, or wait and hope prices drop

Historically, the best time to buy is 2-3 months after the set releases. That's when I'm planning to buy them at least.

Its always a tough call on price speculation for these, but I wouldnt expect the creep to keep that pace just because MM17 will be drafted and opened very heavily still over the next couple months. They may climb a bit more and hold steady or they may also decline a bit still yet, either way I'd say +/- $5 for the foreseeable future from their current prices
