So, Ornithopter of Paradise exists, and it can both carry a Cranial Plating (or Nettlecyst!) and tap for mana to both rush out my artifacts but also pay their associated costs, this deck is actually pretty mana hungry. I'm also thinking Nettlecyst will be a 2 of in here, so maybe 2 Arcbound Ravagers and pull the black creatures? Are 0 drops and Cranial Plating a sane game plan as Plan A? It was able to close games before with the extra beefy bodies, but this also would add 8 artifacts. Not sure if I should think about Dark Ritual as well, but probably Springleaf Drum would be a better choice.

arpenteur This is my Empires budget deck I made awhile back. I found it worked well, but I'd usually win with only 1 or 2 Empire things up and running, rarely getting all 3, because the deck closed games quicker than the Empire stuff could get set up. Still, they weren't dead cards very often, even pinging the enemy sometimes created enough value to win.

Yeah i have played it around 10 games for now, and most of the times 2 of the artifacts were enough to take over the game, crown of empires for blocking some creatures or simply chump blocking with the tokens created by the throne was enough to keep me alive until I found a way to get out with the next card. The only problems I have faced is that as a control deck, mine does not have creatures and therefore has a lot of trouble getting the win quickly, most of the time having slow pasted games where I slowly found my cards to finish the game
