While your idea is sound, Control decks are going to shut you down. While they can't counter the Bloodrush stuff, your lack of versatility means your deck will be easy to read and deal with. You're putting all your eggs in one basket.
Besides combat damage, you should consider running some burn spells, Bonfire, Skullcrack, Searing Spear, Brimstone Volley, etc.
