Competitive Modern Night —April 16, 2019
2-2 for the night
Match 1: 0-2 vs Pheonix: Game two got mana flooded and they were able to come back
Match 2: 2-0 vs Pheonix: Game one shut them out with turn two Boom turn three Trinisphere. Game two sideboarded in 3x Surgical Extraction and 3x Grafdiggers and shut them out the game turn three again.
Match 3: 2-0 vs RDW: Trinisphere shut them out of the game with very little land removal than Wumpus ended it both times.
Match 4: 1-2 vs Esper Control: Won game two on the draw with turn two boom turn three trinisphere turn 4 Wumpus. Match 3 went to time but he was able to ult his second Mind Sculpter before I could draw enough damage to end it. Both games were lost to planeswalker (Terferi game one and then Mindsculpter game three) which is making me consider adding in some Pithing Needles.
