More Group slug, less combo —March 17, 2024
Well, this deck wants to slug & grind it out without anyone pulling out of the downward spiral. I removed one more combo godo, bandit warlord is out. Though each part of the Godo combo is good in here, the deck is not about combos.
Radiation is an entertaining slugtastic mechanic. It is perfect for graveyard-loving decks that want everyone to drain down to the endgame. It also seems on-point for a realm-traveling demon looking to turn all planes into war-torn, scorched wastelands. Nuclear Fallout added. Megaton's Fate is currently underrated, but won't be for long. Prisoner's Dilemma has flashback, so it is a nice option for a sorcery that I won't feel bad about hucking to the graveyard, while also being an odd burn-piece.
I have considered mulling some of the ETB-creature nature of the deck in order to go in on some more sorcery-centric style. TIme will tell if I want to do this.
