Too mana costly for a rather average effect I can't use right away, unless I flash him in at the end-step of turn before mine with Vedalken Orrery out. I'd rather a five drop creature or instant/sorcery that does something right away (retrieve an instant/sorcery, draw a card with no need to worry about summoning sickness, buff my wizards, etc.) or a more interesting effect (steal an opponent's creature).
