Trying Veil of Summer —Aug. 23, 2020
While the deck seems to work fine in its current configuration, I figured it would be worth trading out some cards that I would play in the control matchups with Veil of Summer. This card works well with the decks tendency of wanting to leave at least one mana up for activations of retribution if the ancients while doing some pretty unique things:
1) Protect retributions of the ancients from being removed, which can actually be a huge issue if you are depending on it.
2) Protect against discard spells
3) Protect against permission spells
For now I am just trying one in the side in favor of one evolutionary leap, but I will try to make more cuts so I can see the card more and better judge the cards effectiveness when in use.
