Not already mentioned - Bad River, Cascading Cataracts has a silhouette of Kefnet, Desert of the True, Mutavault technically is a bird, Seaside Haven is a must play, Swarmyard can regenerate any prey. As for basics Island has a bird in the middle, Island has a good number of birds and is part of a panorama, not sure how to tag it but Secret Lair Godzilla Island has birds, Island, Island birds with a sunset, Island, Island, as for plains, Plains, Plains, Plains, Plains, Plains, and Plains.

I think there are different types of staples:
Staples of the format which can go in every deck, think how Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth should be played in every deck and is thus a staple of the format itself, as well as Mana Crypt, the free to cast if you have your commander out instants of C2020, fetch lands, and duals.
Then we have staples of a color, take Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation for any deck running blue and black, or Veil of Summer and dorks for green, white will always want to play Smothering Tithe, and the red Wheel of Fortune.
Certainly there are also staple commanders, the partnership of Thrasios and something else is always going to be strong, then theres Kraum, Kenrith, Najeela, Gitrog, and Skullbriar.

Halls of Mist is fun, Maze of Ith, Mystifying Maze, Labyrinth of Skophos all deal with attackers. Another way to deal with creatures is with removal: enter Quicksand and Mouth of Ronom. When protecting your own creatures Yavimaya Hollow is the best. With your general being a 6/6 Arena will kill quite a few unfortunate souls.
Soldevi Excavations is good filtering on a land, Search for Azcanta Flip is great for finding noncreature spells; however, note that it also cannot get lands. Halimar Depths is a one time top deck filter, you have to decide whether entering tapped is small enough to ignore. Castle Vantress is going to be the best land for this, four mana plus a tap is expensive though.
All creature lands are great, but given enough mana Urza's Factory is even better, just pumping out creatures. Hostile Desert takes advantage of all the lands that will undoubtedly be entering your graveyard. Of course the aforementioned Field of the Dead is the best at generating blockers and possibly attackers.

I think it's great, it's a much better Praetor's Grasp in some sense, and is a great way to deal with Thoracle combos which jund and has had some trouble with.

A deck focused mainly on the abilities of it's lands doesn't really have a place in edh for the sole reason that there aren't many lands that will do much against three or more opponents that are doing crazy stuff. In legacy Lands doesn't perform well in a meta with a ton of combo decks, and in edh most decks are combo or can perform one. The best lands that work because of their abilities are Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Field of the Dead, then there are the big mana lands like Gaea's Cradle, but I don't think you're looking for big mana, then you have decks that revolve around certain lands, but are more about the synergy between a certain land and the rest of the deck, look to cards like Magosi, the Waterveil and Academy Ruins. Your best bet for a lands focused deck, aside from some weird brew, is to look at the high impact lands and build around those cards, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle can act as a good control card; however that's not going to stop many combos, so maybe you can run a commander that discourages combo, think Ruric Thar, the Unbowed.

All considered nice deck.

I've already taken a shot at a Dargo-Ikra deck, where Ikra is more for colors however I don't think its very great. I think that one of the most intriguing generals though is Jeska, Thrice Reborn a Dargo-Jeska deck could be interesting with jeska being a win condition in the command zone; however, it may just be a worse Godo though.
On the more casual side I think your Toggo-Kodama of the East has some wheels, with wheels. Making a more controlling deck with Field of the Dead and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle as win conditions and winning with wheel after wheel where either creating a token or putting a land into play will put 3-4 lands into play triggering the Field or Valakut.
