I enjoy thinking about Magic more than I like playing it. I see the deckbuilding as an engineering challenge.

As a general rule, my decks prioritize being fun to play (and whenever possible, to play against). I generally try to avoid playing very expensive or competitive cards, preferring to work with the borderline unplayable. The way I see it, if my decks win more often than not that's just a bonus.

My decks generally try to do one of two things:

  • Matching flavor to a fun role playing experience.

  • Matching mechanics to create a fun playing experience.

Also, in case it isn't clear - I take my deck name puns super seriously.
