#1Decent article, but when counting your "casting" pips you say that Piston Fist Cyclops counts as two each of Red and Blue-- when in fact, mathematically, it should be the opposite. Hybrid mana symbols should be weighted at one half of each of their respective colors, because you can use EITHER color. In the case of Piston Fist, for example, you are just as capable of casting it using only blue mana as you are using only red mana, or any combination thereof. In a 2 color deck, it's actually completely color-agnostic, and shouldn't affect your mana ratios at all. In a 3 color deck, you only need to make sure you have ONE OF the colors available-- not both. By counting each pip twice, you're artificially inflating the color representation needed to cast that spell reliably.
