Yeva's Forcemage + Garruk's packleader

If I have card:Garruk's Packleader in play and then cast card:Yeva's Forcemage, can I target the Forcemage with its own +2/+2 triggered ability and then be allowed to draw a card due to the packleader being on the battlefield?

card:Garruk's Packleader's checks card:Yeva's Forcemage's power to see if it's ability triggers as the forcemage enters the battlefield (this is long before the forcemage's ability has a chance to resolve). Since the forcemage's ability hasn't resolved yet, it's still a 2/2 and the packleader's ability doesn't trigger.
If the packleader's ability read "Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may draw a card if that creature's power is 3 or greater.", then it wouldn't check the forcemage's power until resolution. If you put the packleader's ability on the stack first (so that the forcemage's ability would resolve first), then you would get the draw.
