Twilight Shepherd Persist

Twilight Shepherd , her enter the battlefield ability is to return all cards to hand that were put into the graveyard this turn. So what I am reading is she can do this upon being cast and it would happen again as her persist triggers since she is reentering the battlefield. Is this true?

Yes. Persist causes a creature card to return from the graveyard to the battlefield, so that creature enters the battlefield again. Relevant abilities will trigger accordingly.
