Soulbond and combat
Asked by Exzleite 12 years ago
If opponent blocks one of my soulbonded creatures and it dies. Does my other soulbonded creature still have the soulbonded ability until the end of combat?

The creatures are only paired for as long as you control them both. If one of them dies then they aren't paired anymore and the bond is broken.

Yes, but unless a creature had first strike, then the boost will still affect your creature, because all combat damage (except first strike) is dealt at once.

I would say no because you no longer control the creature it was soulbonded to. As soon as that phase of combat ends, it will check for that creature, and since it no longer can be seen, the ability will fall off then.
