Skinrender

If Skinrender enters the battlefield and there are no other creatures on the field does it then target itself?

From the text on the card, it seems like skinrender would enter the battlefield, trigger its ability and then die because it is the only creature able to be targeted.

Nevermind its right in the rule description on gatherer. doh!
