Realmwright

Asked by Quadsimotto 11 years ago

If i have two Realmwright 's on the board and have stated two different land types in order to give my self three different colors of mana prodcing lands, and the Realmwright are taken off the board in whatever manner does the effect they gave to the lands leave when they leave? The reason I am asking is because it does not state " for as long as you control"

Realmwright 's second ability is a static ability, and so it only functions when it's source is in the correct zone. In this case, it's when Realmwright is on the battlefield. As soon as it leaves, the effect ends.

Because Realmwright 's ability states that the lands "are" the chosen type instead of the lands "become" the chosen type, the type only stays as long as Realmwright (the source of the effect) is in the relevant zone (the battlefield).

Realmwright just adds a basic land type to lands you control. The BLT comes with its related ability to tap for one mana of the appropriate color. Realmwright doesn't increase the total output of the land. It just gives you more options.
