Question about Blightcaster effects + Enchanted Creature
Asked by ddraig24 8 years ago
Can I ask about Blightcaster does the effect activate when I use Spiteful Returned bestow skill and enchant a creature I control? More like does Spiteful Returned count as an enchantment spell when I bestow and Blightcaster can use her's?
Sorry about the noob questions been playing for only 1week thanks :)

Note that even if you don't cast it for its bestow cost, it is still an enchantment creature itself which will still trigger Blightcaster's ability.

Just a technical aside: "activate" and "trigger" are very specific terms. Activated abilities must be manually activated; triggered abilities automatically trigger.
An activated ability is written in the form "[cost]: [effect]" (note the colon to separate the two). Activated abilities are manually activated; they never happen as a result of something else. When an activated ability is activated, its controller puts it onto the stack, makes choices for it, and pays its costs just like he or she were casting a spell.
A triggered ability is written in the form "[at/when/whenever] [event], [effect]." Triggered abilities happen automatically when the stated event occurs in the game. When a triggered ability triggers, its controller puts it onto the stack the next time a player receives priority.

when you bestow any bestow card onto a creature, you are casting it as an Enchantment - Aura, so yes it counts.
