Palisade Giant vs Tramples

Say I have a Palisade Giant , and my opponent is swinging with multiple creatures that have Trample. If damage added up to over 7, would I take all damage over 7 from every other attacking creature?

Palisade Giant 's ability redirects all damage that would be dealt to you or another creature you control. Damage assignment doesn't matter. You won't take damage in this case (even if Palisade Giant dies.
