Ordeal of Erebos's sacrifice

Hi, i was checking Gatherer for some cards and i found Ordeal of Erebos. it says:

Whenever enchanted creature attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on it. Then if it has three or more +1/+1 counters on it, sacrifice Ordeal of Erebos.When you sacrifice Ordeal of Erebos, target player discards two cards.

Cool. My question is: if I sacrifice Ordeal, will my creature keep the +1/+1 counters? Cos i'm putting counters on the creature, not on the aura, right?

Yes. The effect does not remove the counters, so the counters remain on the creature.
