Niche Flash summoning sickness noob question

Relatively new to the game so I'm still trying to get a full grasp on all of the mechanics and keywords. The questions is, if I use a creature spell with flash on my first main phase can I then attack with it that very same turn?

No, you won't be able to attack with the creature this turn. "Summoning sickness" has to do with how long you've controlled a creature. If you haven't controlled it since the beginning of your turn, it can't attack or activate any abilities with in the cost unless it has the "Haste" ability. The "Flash" ability doesn't do anything special with regards to summoning sickness.
