need help with squirrels and banned cards

so i want to bring a squirrel deck to fnm modern format i read the banned cards and no squirrels were banned but tappedout.net here says my squirrel deck isnt modern legal and that all squirrel cards are banned which is it? my deck Army of Squirrels

Those cards are not banned, they were never modern legal in the first place. Modern is 8th edition and newer..

Anything before 8th edition is banned along with a ban list for specific cards. Just because a card isn't on the ban list does not mean it isn't banned. If it isn't 8th edition or more recent it is banned.
