Multiple instances of extort?

Asked by Derob90 11 years ago

When a card states that it gives other creatures extort. but if they already have it they gain "multiple instances of extort", and each triggers separately. Does this mean the creature can use extort twice when i play a spell? Or something else?

Yes. "each instance trigger separately" means that whenever you cast a spell, you can trigger every instances of extort you have on the board individually.

If a creature (or any other permanent) has 2 or more instances of extort, each triggers separately. This means that if you have a single creature with two instances of extort, both instances will trigger when you cast a spell, and you can extort twice (assuming you can pay the mana cost).

tl;dr Yes, multiple extorts from the same creature all work with a single spell.
