Jori En and Copied Spells

I'm thinking about adding Jori En, Ruin Diver to my Melek, Izzet Paragon EDH deck and I was wondering if a copied spell would trigger Jori En's ability. Does coping a spell count as casting a second spell?

It doesn't. Cards that will cast spells instead of putting a copy of them on the stack will explicitly say so, such as Spelltwine.

Spells or abilities only cast copies of cards if the object is copied in a zone other than the stack. Otherwise, it is created directly on the stack.
