Jon Irenicus, Shattered One and passing him around.

Asked by NTakamura 2 years ago

If I own Jon Irenicus, Shattered One give Jon it to player B. I know now he can't attack me but what happens when Player B passes Jon to Player C. Would I still be not be able to be attacked? And once Jon makes it to Player D who is Jon able to attack? So what then happen when Jon finally makes it back to me after all that who is he able to attack?

Side question during the passing of Jon would I ever get Jon ability to draw?

The goading remains because the creature never changes zones. So as it is passed to each player, the number of opponents it can attack decreases each time.

Once it’s passed to the final opponent, it’s been goaded by all the other players. Because of this, it has free range to attack whomever since it must attack each turn “if able” and must attack someone who it isn’t goaded against “if able”, but it can’t satisfy this requirement since everyone has goaded it.

And you’d only draw the card if you control the creature.
