Is "you" a target?

When cards specifically say that "you" do something, is the "you" in that spell's instance a target?

For example, someone I knew activated Heroes Remembered , and the guy she was playing against morphed Willbender so that he gained the 20 life instead.

However, I don't quite understand if the "you" is a target that can be changed, since she couldn't choose a target in the first place...

Any help?

Unless the card says the word "target" somewhere on it, nothing it does targets. Heroes Remembered does not target, and is therefore an illegal target for Willbender 's unmorph trigger.
