Interrupt

Im building an EDH deck that runs heavy artifacts and I was wondering how to use the Interrupt ability?

"Interrupt" was an old card type associated with different timing rules that what the game uses today. Instead of the stack, it was a somewhat similar but more complicated system that required certain abilities and spell effects to be "faster" than instants. Just ignore anything that says "interrupt" and check the current Oracle text of any cards you have specific questions about. If the current Oracle text doesn't answer your questions about a card, you can come back here and ask, and we'll help you.

Um. Interrupt isn't an ability. It used to be a card type, but every interrupt was errata'd to an instant some time ago. Could you be more specific? Maybe link the card that's concerning you?
