How much do pre-release decks usually cost and what is included?

I'm trying to budget in the Gatecrash pre-release and was wondering how much it might cost (though I'm sure it is subject to change) and what is included?

I'm not sure what you mean by "pre-release deck". Do you mean Intro Packs? The ones with a pre-constructed deck, a foil rare, and 2 boosters? Or maybe Event Decks that come with a competitive-level pre-con?

Either way, Intro Packs will run you ~$14 and Event Decks vary in price depending on the cards found within, usually between $15 and $30.

I mean when you go to a pre-release and get a pre-release pack "Each Guild Prerelease Pack contains five Gatecrash booster packs, a guild-specific booster pack, a special alternate-art prerelease card unique to each guild, an achievement card, a Spindown life counter, a guild symbol sticker, and a letter from the guild's leader." -Wizards found here

It's around $20-30, depends on the store.

I'd say budget $35-$40 just to be safe (you do probably want snacks or maybe card sleeves right?).

As for what's inside, 6 packs of gatecrash plus more.

Also I'm amazed this is still a question, usually someone goes "q&a section is for rules only I'm moving this to the general forum." For some reason I always imagine someone with a huge mustache and a grumbly voice when I read those lines.
