How does Mirror Mockery and Torrent Elemental work?

Can I cast the exiled token that Mirror Mockery makes by activating the Torrent Elemental ability?

You don't cast tokens. Tokens are created on the battlefield. And Torrent Elemental's activated ability doesn't cast anything, either; it puts Torrent Elemental directly onto the battlefield. A spell or ability will cause you to cast something only if it specifies as such using the word "cast."

Additionally, if a token leaves the battlefield for any reason, it remains in its new zone until the next time state-based actions are checked, at which point it ceases to exist. The exiled Torrent Elemental token will cease to exist before you are given priority to activate any of its abilities.
