With Gleemax "You choose all targets for all spells and abilities."

from the players I play with in RL. they were saying if I summon a creature they can chose to have my creature summoned on their field?

Is this correct.

No, a creature spell is not targetted - a creature will always enter the battlefield under it's caster's control unless otherwise specified (and I can't think of an example here).

Spells that are targetted are Auras, so for example if you cast a creature with Bestow for it's Bestow cost, Gleemax kicks in and lets it's controller decide which creature to enchant. By the way, you will still be the controller of this creature.
