Does the effect Wither deal damage to players in posion counters?

On all cards with Wither, it says that it deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters. So it is pretty much infect, but does it deal damage to players in poison counters?

No. Infect was basically upgraded Wither. A source with Wither only deals damage to creatures in -1/-1 counters, it deals regular damage to players and planeswalkers.
