Does populate copy token's counters?

I had a 5/5 token with 2 +1/+1 counters which made it a 7/7. If i populate that token do i get a 5/5 or a 7/7?

+1/+1 counters are not a copyable trait, so you'd get another 5/5 token with no +1/+1 counters on it.
