Does Phyrexian Mana count towards CMC

Card with a casting cost of 1 colorless and 1 phyrexian/white.

does its CMC count as 1 or 2?

or 1.5... :O

A Phyrexian mana symbol is a colored mana symbol, so it increases converted mana cost by 1 just like any other colored mana symbol does. Your example card would have a CMC of 2.

Also, check Gatherer rulings:

6/1/2011: To calculate the converted mana cost of a card with Phyrexian mana symbols in its cost, count each Phyrexian mana symbol as 1.
