Does Darkest Hour remove all other colors of creatures?

So if I have a Darkest Hour out, can any creature be counted as any color other than black? Or does it remove all creatures' other colors?

Darkest Hour makes all creatures black and just black. If this weren't the case it would say "All creatures are black in addition to their other colors."
