Do enchantments count as permanents? I'm wondering for devotion purposes.

To give a bit more insight, a permanent is any card that when played or cast remains on the battlefield after resolving. This includes Artifacts, Enchantments, Lands, and Creatures.

@acbooster: It's perhaps more accurate to say a permanent is anything that is on the battlefield. Tokens are permanents, but they are not cards.

Only creatures, enchantments, artifacts, planeswalkers, and lands can be permanents.

Planeswalkers and tokens. I knew I was forgetting something, thanks for catching that.
