can you use lifelink on planeswalkers

im more learning towards no on this, because if this could happen then people would highly abuse it already and probably would of seen it already..the small % that makes me think its yes, is

you use lifelink to gain life, so can you redirect it to planeswalkers or is it just YOU

No, you can't cause they use loyalty counters.

Planeswalkers don't have life, they have loyalty counters. Although you can redirect damage from players to planeswalkers, you can't redirect your own life gain to planeswalkers, unfortunately.

Lifelink ruling reads:

702.14b Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that sources controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes).

Damage redirection ruling reads:

306.7. If noncombat damage would be dealt to a player by a source controlled by an opponent, that opponent may have that source deal that damage to a planeswalker the first player controls instead. This is a redirection effect (see rule 614.9) and is subject to the normal rules for ordering replacement effects (see rule 616). The opponent chooses whether to redirect the damage as the redirection effect is applied.
