can you use bestow ability, if cast as a creature?

Just pay bestow cost as well at a later main step? Example card Celestial Archon

No. Bestow is an alternate casting cost, not an activated ability. You either cast a bestow creature as a creature or as an aura - you can't retroactively change its status while it is a permanent.

No, bestow is an alternate cost, meaning it's an alternate way to cast the spell. You make the decision how to cast the bestow card when you cast it. It's not an activated ability like Monstrous that you use when the creature is on the battlefield.

Ok. Was confused when rules staed it becomes a creature again when not attached. So the death of the attached creature is the only way it can change state right?

A bestow card that is attached to a creature will become a creature when the bestow card becomes unattached to it's enchanted creature. It doesn't matter why it became unattached, though the creature dying is probably the most common reason. The creature could also gain protection of the bestow card.

Hmm.. not sure about the protection, as I cant find that ruling anywhere. That would be neat though.

In the insert for THEROS it states "...even if your opponent kills your enchanted creature, all of your bestow auras will remain on the battlefield and revert back to creature form."

Actually you're right about the protection. If the bestowed creature gains protection of the color of an attached bestow card, it's just put into the graveyard. It doesn't become a creature.

704.5n If an Aura is attached to an illegal object or player, or is not attached to an object or player, that Aura is put into its owners graveyard.

@GreatSword & xei2013: You need something that causes the aura to become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Destroying the enchanted creature works because the enchanted creature will be put into its owner's graveyard while the aura temporarily remains on the battlefield.

Thank you for your inputes, I think what im ultimately going to do isfollow instuctions given on written THEROS insert. since there is no mention of going from creature to aura(im assuming that you cant) but there is for aura to creature specifically for the THEROS bestow cards when enchanted creature dies. Thanx.

There's no mention of going from creature to aura because it can't be done. Bestow creatures can only become auras if they are cast for their bestow cost, in which case they won't be creatures.
